Busy bee.

I've just realized it's been too long since I've blogged! Too much going on, as usual. As soon as we get a break, it's hardly enjoyable, only because we fill our time with projects, housework, the normal to do's of everyday. In my life, every new day brings countless blessings, and things that I've recently opened my eyes to that I too often take for granted.
As these weeks are passing by, and we're over halfway through this year, my little one is six months old, my little sister has turned 21, and times are changing. It's always what you make of it, so I'm happy with the way things are. I've recently been through four books, 6 a.m. workouts at the gym, and more relaxing days than usual. Yesterday hit me hard, being on my feet from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m....my back was ungrateful for those wedges and so were my feet. I have to say I'm so thankful for being at the salon I'm at, with the sweet girls I work with. Dana being pregnant and not feeling well, I feel for her everyday. Michelle just being her hilarious self...and walking back into the room seeing Kylie doing a dance. I have to say, where I work couldn't get much better.
Being that it's almost August, that little glimpse of fall I get about this time every year (when I'm dying to sit inside a freezer) has reminded me of my favorite things to look forward to. It's my favorite time of year. Our anniversary, my birthday, apple cider & the mountains. Hiking, camping, & football season. Everything is fresh and comfortable in the fall. I may be thinking way too far ahead, and I suppose I do rush things, but that's what happens when it's too humid to breathe and you sweat even in the A.C.
Today, I woke up wondering how anyone is expected to be productive with the sound of rain in a dark room, in a cozy bed. I hear Brady talking to himself in his room, so I walk in his room and peek in his crib. He's smiling. I knew we didn't have much time to fall back asleep because in a few hours, we had our six month session with Allison! (Which I tried everything in my closet on and couldn't make up my mind...) Everything was great, Brady was great, considering the heat, and I am MORE than thrilled to see the pictures! It's been a happy day, Brady fell right asleep after the session and I've been throwing loads of laundry in and out of the washer like we have a family of ten.
Here comes a new weekend...dinner with Angela, wedding celebrations for my cousin Mary Kathryn that I haven't seen in ages!, and looking forward to the beach in just a couple more weeks! But, before all this...tonight I get to spend time with my two favorite boys, in my favorite place. Home.
